Dr. K. Mahabal Shetty, son of Kadenja Venkappa Shetty and Manel Beerava Nagamma Shetty, is a respected and veteran medical professional with over five decades of dedicated service. He completed his early education at Pavoor Harekala and St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, and earned his MBBS from Mysore Medical College. During the 1971 Indo-Pak war, he served selflessly in a refugee camp in Tripura. He also worked for 2.5 years at a B.M.C. hospital and has been practicing as a general practitioner in Mumbai for the past 51 years. A former President of the Bunts Doctors Association, Dr. Shetty is deeply rooted in community service. His wife, Mamata Shetty, is the daughter of Girija Shetty and Krishna Shetty, who served as Vice President of the Bunts Sangha Ladies Wing. They are blessed with two children, a daughter settled in the USA and a son in Mumbai.
