Dr. Vijay Shetty, an eminent orthopaedic surgeon, currently serves as President of the Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM) 2024 and General Secretary of the Indian Biologics Orthopaedic Society (IBOS). He is the Director of the Department of Orthopaedics at Dr. L.H. Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai, and Founder of Saanvi Orthopaedics, Mumbai. Internationally recognized, he has been a Fellow at the Cambridge Hip & Knee Unit, UK, and has authored over 70 international publications. A three-time Limca Book of Records awardee in Total Knee Replacement surgery, Dr. Shetty is the author of the renowned “Shetty Test” for ankle injuries. He also holds editorial roles with SICOT and Hip International. As Head of the Scientific Committee at the Association of Bunt Doctors, he continues to drive excellence in orthopaedics, education, and research while shaping the future of sports and biological orthopaedics globally.
